Langenbeck-Virchow-Haus
The Langenbeck-Virchow-Haus (LVH) is centrally located in Berlin-Mitte at Luisenstraße 58/59, 10117 Berlin – right next to the Charité and only about a 15-minute walk from Berlin Central Station. This makes the venue easily accessible by car, train and plane.
Reaching the LVH by public transport is particularly straightforward: the ‘Charité Campus Mitte’ bus stop is situated directly in front of the building and is served by bus route 147, amongst others. From the main railway station or the Friedrichstraße S-Bahn and U-Bahn station, you can take a direct bus to the entrance. You can find the latest timetables on the BVG route planner.
If travelling by car, please note that the Langenbeck-Virchow-Haus does not have its own car park. However, paid parking spaces and public car parks are available in the immediate vicinity, e.g. the PARK ONE car park on Luisenstraße (approx. 5 minutes’ walk) or the Hauptbahnhof P1 underground car park (approx. 17 minutes’ walk). As parking spaces in the city centre may be limited, we recommend travelling by public transport wherever possible.
From Berlin Brandenburg Airport (BER), you can reach Berlin Central Station in around 30 minutes by the Airport Express (FEX) or regional trains, and from there take bus 147 to ‘Charité Campus Mitte’.
